Sensgreen & The Things Stack

The Things Network (TTN) is a robust global community and open-source infrastructure aiming to create a wide-reaching and accessible Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. The Things Stack, the newest and most advanced version of TTN, is designed to provide seamless LoRaWAN connectivity and device management. With a focus on scalability, security, and flexibility, The Things Stack enables users to deploy and manage IoT networks with ease. Its comprehensive suite of tools supports device registration, data routing, and network monitoring, making it an ideal platform for developers and businesses seeking to harness the power of IoT for diverse applications.
This guide will help you set up an integration between The Things Stack and Sensgreen. With the integration of Sensgreen & The Things Stack, you can easily transfer the data of your sensors registered in The Things Stack to the Sensgreen Smart Building Platform. By using the The Things Stack Sensgreen Webhook integration, you can generate reports, set alarms, create scenarios and analyze the data better with graphs and charts.
Prerequisites

The Things Network Account
Sensgreen Integration Setup
Sensgreen Platform-TTN Integration
Create an application in the TTN Applications tab via clicking the “+ Create application” button.
2. Fill the Application ID, Application Name and Description.
3. Open TTN Platform, choose the created application, open Integrations → Webhooks tab and create a webhook via clicking the “+ Add webhook” button.
4. Select the “Sensgreen”
5. Open the Integration → Import tab on the Sensgreen Platform, click on it and copy API TOKEN.
6. Fill the Webhook ID, and the API KEY as you copied API TOKEN.
Get API key from TNN
Click Your Profile tab and select Personal API keys.
2. Click “+ Add API Key”.
3. Fill the name box, leave the other options the same and click to “Create API Key”.
4. Copy the API key.
Add device to Sensgreen Platform
Open the Device Management page on the Sensgreen Platform. Then, click the “+ New Device” button.
2. Select the The Things Network for connectivity.
3. Fill the API KEY with you copied from TTN.
4. Select Sensor for Device Type, select application which you want to connect to Sensgreen Platform. After that, select the devices that you desired and indicate Device Brand and Sensor Type.
5. Select the preferred building for Building.
6. Congratulations, you can now monitor the sensors you choose from the Sensgreen Platform, analyze their data, get reports based on this data and set up automation scenarios.
